The Miyabi 5000 MCD series is certainly one of the knives you’ll notice in any knife shop thanks to the fantastic mirror finish on this damask blade. The manufacturer Zwilling, which is also part of Miyabi produces knives since 1731, obviously as soon as Zwilling understood the great potential of Japanese knives, they decided to buy two production centers in Seki, which still represents the Japanese knife production center modern. This line is forged from Powdered Steel SG2 steel with a hardness of 62-63 HRC, and finished with an exceptional and comfortable birch handle.
